Washington, Dec 11: Now fans can once again smell the scent of their favourite singer Celine Dion, for the star has launched her latest perfume Enchanting.
Dion's perfume will compete against the likes of Jennifer Lopez, Britney Spears, Kylie Minogue and Dame Elizabeth Taylor in the run up to Christmas.
The Grammy Award-winner, 38, who recently cancelled several live performances due to a contagious respiratory infection, has teamed up with Coty Beauty once again to give fans another taste of the singer's personal fragrance preferences, reports Contactmusic.
Since Coty launched the first fragrance, Celine Dion Parfums, in the portfolio three years ago, the franchise has brought in 500 million dollars in global retail sales, and executives are hopeful Enchanting will do just as well, particularly during the seasonal period.
Illness forces Celine Dion to cancel performances
LAS VEGAS (AP) - Celine Dion has canceled the next five performances of her "A New Day" show and an appearance at the Billboard Music Awards because of a highly contagious respiratory infection, show producers said Wednesday.The 38-year-old Grammy-winning singer was being treated for Mycoplasma bronchitis, a contagious bacterial infection, and has been ordered to rest during her recovery, producers said.Performances of "A New Day" at Caesars Palace, a revue created by former Cirque du Soleil Artistic Director Franco Dragone, were canceled from Wednesday through Sunday, after which Dion was scheduled to take a holiday break from the five-show-a-week regimen.The show will not resume until Dec. 28.Dion also backed out of a scheduled appearance at the Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas on Monday.Kris Lingle, a spokesman for "A New Day," said ticket-holders would receive refunds or could book other show dates.Dion last canceled performances in April, days ahead of her 500th show at the Las Vegas Strip hotel-casino.The singer began a three-year, $100 million contract at Caesars in March 2003, then extended it through next year.

Since Coty launched the first fragrance, Celine Dion Parfums, in the portfolio three years ago, the franchise has brought in $500 million in global retail sales. Coty executives also added that the perfumes are created on the mantra "live, love and believe." The 38-year-old singer's franchise is available in more than 30 countries, including the U.S., Canada, France and Germany.

If you're not quite there yet, I prescribe Celine Dion's rendition of "O Holy Night." I'm not a big fan of the singer, but this one will light you up with goose bumps. It puts me in a worshipful mood, and tonight will culminate at the place that's most recurring in my own Christmas story - St. Luke's Church.
