Earlier today, WWE met with Antonio Inoki about a possible working relationship with New Japan Pro Wrestling. WWE.com has a brief article posting on the meeting itself. CBS issued the following press release for the upcoming reality TV series that we've been reporting which involves Trish Stratus. Here's the release: CELEBRITY COPS HIT THE STREETS "ARMED & FAMOUS," A New Reality Series, Premieres Wednesday, Jan. 10 on the CBS Television Network Erik Estrada, La Toya Jackson, Jack Osbourne, Jason "Wee-Man" Acuna and Trish Stratus Star In A New Series Which Follows Celebrities As They Become Working Police Officers in Muncie, Indiana ARMED & FAMOUS, a new reality series that turns celebrities into crime fighters, will follow five brave stars through the Police Academy and onto patrol in Muncie, Indiana.
CBS announces start date for reality show featuring Trish Stratus
CBS announced that the cop reality show "Armed & Famous" featuring Trish Stratus as one of the celebrity cops will debut on Wednesday, January 10 at 8:00 p.m. EST. A second episode of the one-hour show show will air the following night in the same timeslot. The show will then air on Wednesday nights, although CBS has not announced the number of episodes that have been ordered for the show. Filming is currently ongoing and they will continue to tape episodes until the end of January. The show is being filmed in Muncie, Indiana, and the show's producers have come under fire in the local Star Press newspaper for paying criminals and offenders a TV appearance fee after being arrested. They have also presented waivers to the offenders and regular citizens to sign so they can appear on the show.

MUNCIE -- Armed & Famous cast members La Toya Jackson and Trish Stratus traded their handguns for children's books Friday afternoon at the city's Maring Hunt Library. The celebrities met with 29 four- and five-year-olds from Head Start, teaching them the importance of 911 and reading Make Way for Ducklings and Peanut Emergency. .
